One of a kind, exquisite navy and white huipil Mexican blouse from the village of Pantelho in Chiapas, Mexico. Handwoven with a backstrap loom and accented by intricate hand embroidered designs on the sleeves and neckline as well as the traditional highland Mayan symbol of the frog on both sides of the blouse. The symbol of the frog is said to represent the fertility and abundance of the earth. Given the incredible work and detail that goes into a blouse of this style, it takes about a week to create. Size can fit small to medium.
